“Pueblo”

12 x 16

Oil on Canvas

This original 12 x 16 oil on canvas painting, is my respectful appreciation for the original North American People. Personal photo research during one of my journeys through the New Mexico region, provided inside acceptance into the lives of the San Ildefonso Pueblo. My interpretation reveals the Altered State of Consciousness where freedom to move through Kiva walls is met with interactions of the Spirits.
I hope you enjoy!

“Tormented”

16 x 20

Acrylic on Canvas (Border in Oil)

As with all that is holy and righteous, there is the opposite conclusion of evil.

This abstract was originally painted as a free flow exercise of erratic brush strokes. Without any destination or subject matter in mind, I explored chaotic smooshing and brush punching just to see what kind of impressions resulted from this artistic abuse. What I found, required careful color shadowing and the right touch, for this horrid nightmare to appear.

“Above and Below”

24 x 30

Acrylic on Canvas

(Private Collection)

Memories of Elliot Key, Florida. Sometimes the underwater scenery becomes an optical illusion. My artistic intensions were to relate how similar the underwater view is to the surface, under an overcast sky. Are you underwater or above?
